It pays to be curious in New Orleans because this is a city of many, many layers.  It is a city of secrets, some of which are hidden out in the open.  Other secrets are buried deep in the mud and they only come to light after there is a heavy rain.

It rains every day during August in New Orleans, at least for twenty minutes, or so.  The sun shines every day in New Orleans, even when it’s raining.  Let a smile be your umbrella.
