Every Day Is a New Orleans Parade

You never know what you’ll find when you turn a corner in New Orleans.  Every day is a New Orleans parade.  Whether a brass band is involved or not, whether the parade has a police escort, there is always something happening on New Orleans streets.  There is never a dull moment in this wonderful city we call home.

Want something to do?  Just sit on the front porch and watch life go by in all its endless variety on Esplanade Avenue.  Ours is a main street but it isn’t the busiest.  Life’s parade passes by at its own pace, mostly people who live here coming and going about their business.  No one is ever too busy to say hello.

You never know what you’ll find in New Orleans, wherever you are.

It’s no wonder we love where we live.  You’ll love visiting.  Good memories are made on our street.

À votre santé,

La Belle Esplanade

where every day is full of fresh surprises.

Saturday, August 5, 2017:  It’s raining as I write this.  It rains for a portion of every day in August, and then the sun comes out and all is well and good again.  Of course, it’s good in New Orleans even when it’s raining.  It’s always good in New Orleans.  It’s always like a brass band is playing.
